Pro Series - Black Edition - November 24th 2023 Spiceworks Originalsīeing black Friday, I veer from my normally happy, nobody dies to events more dark and somewhat disturbing.Because of Knox/MDM, I can't restore from a google accou. Things are working well.I am trying to come up with a solution for backing up the call logs, contacts and text messages. Hi, I am using Samsung phones and ManageEngine's MDM+ deployed from Knox. I've done this as a temporary workaround before and it works fine. So as soon as your PC shows up on the network again, print jobs that are queued will come out. Obviously they will only be able to print when your PC is on, but once connected, the print queue will be there even if your PC is off, (which is why we chose to render at the client PC). Then you get them to log in and connect to the printer themselves. Because you did as administrator it will allow you to download the drivers to the server. Browse to the PC, right click on the printer and select connect from the drop down list. ![]() Logon to the console of the Server 2008 R2 machine as administrator and open Network. If your workstation is 32 bit you will also have to click additional drivers and load the 64bit drivers for the server, (if both are 64bit you can ignore this step). Share the printer from your PC to the network and select "Render jobs on client computers", (if you have Active Directory, don't tick the box that says list in directory). Right click on the printer in question and select sharing. Since your machine is Windows 7 and the Server is 2008 R2, they share the same core. It's possible without buying any new hardware, but a little time consuming. ![]()
